Playing Card Design

Here is my initial concept for the next round of playing cards I plan on making.

Coca Cola Teeth

Thought I would add a quick design that pays homage to both my bad teeth and excessive consumption of Coca Cola. Note the ugly arse root canal on the right.

Here's the heaps good logo for the Heaps Good website. Ponies are heaps good. I know it looks a hell of a lot like my Hate James logo...

Exposed

Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera was in no short supply at Tate Modern’s Exposed exhibition. The definite stand out for me was the photography of Kohei Yoshiyuki. Check it out.

Glastonbury, its Glastonbury. Enough said!

Berlin

By far may favourite city (sorry Paris), I finally got to check out Mauer Park and on Tranter’s persistence the Bauhaus Museum.

Prague

Does this look like me?

Based on our experience in Krakow we decided to hit up the free walking tour in Prague, it didn’t disappoint and resulted in a pub crawl later that evening and again on the next night. By far the anti-highlight is the old town’s clock that performed a little puppet show every hour. Tranter loved it!

Auschwitz-Birkenau

Krakow – city of cracks

Did you know Krakow means city of cracks? We learnt that and heaps of other interesting things while participating on the city’s free walking tour. If you ever go check out the Jewish Quarter, it’s the best place for drinking, oh and parts of Schindler's List was filmed there. Check out the Banksy rip.

Bratislava

We only spent one night in Bratislava, and that’s all you need. It’s a great little city if only they banned all the god forsaken stag nights. Too many drunken Brits Abroads!

Budapest

Happy to leave Serbia behind me I jumped on a train to Budapest and met up with my mate James (#2).

Where next? Serbia...

Leaving Greece I caught a plane to Belgrade simple because it was the cheapest flight I could find. Belgrade was okay. I’ll just leave it at that.

Greece Baby

Catching a ferry I left Greece and made my way to Greece with a couple of very tanned French Canadians. Together we made our way from Kos to Santorini and then we parted ways and I headed to Mykonos to join up with a few friends to for a sail Greece tour.

The tour was a absolute disaster than saw us leaving Mykonos two days late and then getting caught in a storm that could have sunk our boat. Four days into the tour and everyone had had enough. Mutiny was afoot with the entire tour group refusing to get back on the boat and demanding their money back. Both requests where awarded and me and my friends made our way to Ios.

Ios everything that everyone says it is. I’ll just leave it at that.

In the end I spent 10 days in Greece, all working on my tan. My next stop Serbia, a choice purely based on flight costs…

Turkey

Straight after Egypt I flew to Istanbul and spent 8 days exploring Turkey. My travels took me to the crazy rock formations of Cappadocia, I saw the Ephesus and due to major mismanagement never got to see Anzac Cover but I did get a life ban from a night club in Brodrum.

Egypt - Cairo & Dahab

Me and Lauren just spent the last week in Egypt, meeting up in Cario and we quickly checked out the Pyramids and then headed down to Dahab for some diving. Today we're back to Cario and tomorrow we part ways. She's off to Budapest and I'm going to Istanbul.

Riding to Pairs

Everyone said riding to Paris would be hard, and especially on single speeds but I didn’t listen I still went out the night before till 3am. Excessive drinking and a rainy night resulted in me getting hit by a car (I can’t remember if it was parked or not). But a sore should and a massive hang over couldn’t stop me joining Tim, Frazer, Ben and Bob for a three day ride to Paris.
